Bio:

Siân is the Trust Sepsis Nurse Practitioner and a Resuscitation officer at The Dudley Group Foundation Trust. She qualified as a registered nurse at Southampton University in 1995, moving to the West Midlands to start her career briefly in surgical nursing & high dependency care, before rotating around the different specialty Critical Care units across the region. 16 years within the Critical Care environment, including 11 years as Critical Care Outreach Sister led to her joining the Resuscitation team in 2013 and becoming the lead for Sepsis within the Trust in 2016. Siân is also a Clinical educator with the UK Sepsis Trust and is a co-author of the UKST Sepsis Manual – 4th edition (2018).
