With upcoming changes to the NICE NG51 Sepsis guidelines and a recent change in wording (https://www.nice.org.uk/guidance/ng51/resources/2019-exceptional-surveillance-of-sepsis-recognition-diagnosis-and-early-management-nice-guideline-ng51)
There is no mention of changing criteria or scoring/screening for children.
I am just wondering what other trusts will do if they will be using NEWS2 of 5 or more for adults but still 1 or>High risk criteria for children ???
We are the minority but constantly hit the headlines in the media about this.
