Dear all
I just wanted to ask if there are any sepsis nurses/teams who have merged with critical care outreach at all or who work alongside critical are outreach.
How do you separate the roles and cover your trusts with regards sepsis alerts/patient deterioration?
Hope this make sense.
Look forward to your comments.
Thanks and best wishes

We are a separate team, but our CCOT are 24hr and we are 8-4. We do pass on patients to them, and likewise them to us, we try and attend their handover in the morning to get the communication from the night.
Our team has expanded and we are aiming to be a 7 day service from September 7-7 so we will also be working closely with the hospital at night ACP’s then as we are trainee ACP’s too.
